2017-2018 season
Seasons Review
Season 2017-18 turned out to be a really successful season with the U13s doing the double winning both their division (only losing one game) and League Cup, therefore gaining promotion to Division 2 next season.
The U12s went unbeaten in their division to be awarded the Division Cup and promotion next season to division 1
The U11 yellows progressed to the final of their League Cup and came out 4-0 winners.
U14 Yellows finished runners up in the 1st division, narrowly missing out on top spot for the second year running!
The Mini sessions for 4-6 Year olds on a Saturday and Sunday morning run by Martin Greening and Tang have proved really successful and have produced our new U7s team for next season.
We were proud to be chosen by The FA as an official provider of SSE Wildcats for Girls in April and the sessions run by FA Coach Martin Greening have gained in momentum so much that we will be running our very first girls team next season in the Cheshire Girls League at U9s.
The U11 age group proved so popular that we formed 3 teams, the most we have ever had in one age group.
At the end of the season we have unfortunately lost a few managers and are really grateful to Steve Rogers, Jonathan Lockett, Mike Rhodes and Pete Goodwin for all the time and effort they have given to running their teams over the past few years.
Thank you to everyone involved with the club this year – parents, players, team officials, committee members and our sponsors: we couldnât do it without you!
Lets hope the new season is as enjoyable as the last, and the teams get the success they deserve.

U11sBlue – 2017/2018 Season Review
We’ve seen some amazing football – Reuben’s free kick in the last minute to grab a 2-2 draw away at Holmes Chapel, Jamie’s amazing run to win 3-2 at Tytherington in the dying minutes. Bobby’s run from half way at Vale, beating about three players and slotting home for 3-3 and me doing cart wheels… Stoney faced Jose I’m not!
The Cup run… we all shared that dream – some fantastic performances both home and away before we just fell short at Frodsham, but it was fun while it lasted and gave the boys a real taste for winning competitive games that I hope we carry forward to the new season.
Well done everyone.
